What is the World Masters Games? |
The World Masters Games started with the 1985 games held in Toronto. It is the world's largest lifelong sports competition with over 170,000 sports enthusiasts participating so far. It takes place every four years, attracting tens of thousands of athletes to new locations. The 11th World Masters Games will be held in May 2027 in Kansai, Japan. |

Baseball |
Baseball is played by two teams each consisting of nine players, and the objective is to score as many runs as possible. The teams switch offence and defence positions when three outs are recorded. The team with the higher score after switching offence and defence positions nine times (nine innings) wins the game. | ||

30+: Minimum age is 30 (born on or before 31 December 1992) 45+: Minimum age is 45 (born on or before 31 December 1977) * The age of youngest registered team member determines which age category the team will compete in. * A team may make entry into a younger age category. *One player can participate only in one category. *All teams can compete regardless of gender. |
